Sep 2011- Dec 2014 Community Migration Support Program Officer, Red Cross (Australia)

  •  Providing operational and policy support to a program that supports people who are experiencing financial hardship while seeking refugee status in Australia.

  • Research, report writing, case study writing, editing, advocacy, training.

  •   Working in a highly political, sensitive and cross cultural environment.

May 2011- Dec 2012 Tracing Support Caseworker (Volunteer), Red Cross (Australia)

  • Reviewing all correspondence and writing case summaries in cases where family members have been lost due to war, conflict and natural disaster.

  • Contacting organizations within Australia and overseas to further the search.

  • Working in a highly political, sensitive and cross cultural environment.
