Bound To This Room

Bound To This Room, a radio documentary.

James and his teenaged daughter Alissia are stuck in a rut, or actually a motel room. Although James works full time stocking shelves overnight at a nearby grocery store, he's unable to save enough for first and last month's rent, plus a security deposit for an apartment. So they pay week by week for a single motel room. However, as the summer tourists descend on Cape Cod, the motel prices are getting too high for James to afford.

They each had their own fears and insecurities that kept them from trying. And so, for many years, their dream of playing the piano was buried beneath everyday life. But now that they have finally started, they never want to stop.
